HIs work is often characterized by harmony, minimalism, texture and dissonance.

Braun, Waddle, and many other artists are actively collaborating on “The Perelandra Project”, an experimental theatre-dance adaption of the C.S. Lewis book Perelandra from The Space Trilogy series. Besides various other roles, Graysen mainly works as the sound designer and composer for the project. The soundtrack incorporates styles from folk, classical, electronic, Métis jigging and features from vocalist and actress Athena Chan; as well as the fiddle player and composer Wesley Hardisty. The project is set to debut at Performance Works in Granville Island from December 5-8.

Before his time at Simon Fraser University, Graysen actively participated in the theatre community as both an actor and composer. He wrote original works for performances of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and Pygmalion.
